The Club
LaughterforJoy is a free social laughter club open to residents of South Brunswick and neighboring towns in NJ. As an apolitical and non-religious entity, our sole purpose is to spread laughter and joy throughout the community.

This vibrant club embraces the four elements of joy—laughter, singing, dancing, and playing—welcoming individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Built on the principles of unconditional laughter, our sessions offer a stress-relieving environment where participants connect with fellow laughter enthusiasts and embrace their inner child.
Our one-hour sessions kick off with light dancing, leading into engaging laughter exercises crafted to encourage diaphragmatic breathing and hearty belly laughter. Rooted in community spirit, this initiative is dedicated to fostering joy and well-being for all.

The Teacher
Hello, I'm Kiran, a professional Fashion Designer who finds joy in crafts, outdoor activities, and, of course, laughter.
Reflecting on life a few years ago, I realized that laughter had taken a backseat in my journey through adulthood and a demanding career. Eager to reintroduce more laughter into my life, and keep the inner child alive, I turned to Laughter Yoga, and I am SO glad I did! I got trained as a certified Laughter Yoga Leader by Dr. Madan Kataria, the founder of Laughter Yoga.
In 2020, amidst the challenges of the pandemic, I started my laughter club virtually. It was a small way for me to contribute to our community, fostering connection during a stressful time. Now, our sessions are primarily in person, always free of charge, and serve as a lighthearted space for our town to come together and share laughter.
